Move Your DNA Weekend Workshop – October 19-20

Join Christine in Calgary for her next Move Your DNA Weekend Workshop! Let’s take our learning offline and out of the book. We will come together to learn the exercises presented in the book, go for walks down to the Elbow River and enjoy time with community.

This two-day workshop is designed to teach you the basics of movement. We will break down the exercises that are presented in the book Move Your DNA by Katy Bowman. The workshop is accessible for both the general public, and fitness and health professionals. If you are new to exercise and movement, all of the exercises can be done at your current ability. For the more experienced movers, or professionals, you will learn new ways to experience the exercises in your body to discover gaps in mobility and strength. Each day is divided into approximately 90 minute sessions. We will cover exercises for the whole body, go for walks outside, and even cover an introduction to hanging.

Meditation Made Easy Level 1 Workshop – November 3 @ 2:00pm – 5:00pm

Meditation is a learnable skill that can complement your chiropractic care. Meditation improves spinal alignment, improving your posture, performance and related self-confidence. In this workshop, you’ll learn 3 simple steps to a healthy mind – alignment, relaxation and resilience. Whether you have an existing meditation practice or are just beginning, these basics will provide a reliable path to a better, more healthy you.

Introduction to Pilates Workshop – November 9 @10:00am – 11:00am

This workshop is for anyone who is interested in learning about Pilates. Join Mylene in a one hour workshop for an introduction to Pilates. You will be learning about the history, simple Pilates breathing techniques, and basics about Pilates.

Mylene is a NPCP Certified Pilates instructor and Movement Coach who has been teaching Pilates and helping her clients with pelvic floor activation and strengthening for almost 2 decades. She is dedicated to share her knowledge and experience with her clients and has had the privilege of mentoring and working with a plethora of physiotherapists and chiropractors in Vancouver, BC.
